ADEX is the largest and most prestigious awards competition for product design of furnishings marketed to the design trade. The following Bertazzoni built-in products have been recognized with ADEX Platinum Awards: Design Series 36 inch Segmented Cooktop Gas Griddle Grill PM36 1 IG X, Design Series Induction Touch Control 36 inch Cooktop, 30 inch Ventilation Microwave Oven KO 30 PRO X The Gold Award has been won by the Professional Series 30 inch Double Oven FD30 PRO XT and XE, Professional Series 36 inch Gas Cooktop QB36 5 00 X, Professional Series 36 inch Range Hood with Dual Motors – 1200 CFM KU36 PRO 2X. The Silver Award has been recognized to the Design Series 36 inch Range Hood with Dual Motors KG36 CON X. KBIS 2012, the industry’s top kitchen and bath show with more than 550 exhibitors, opened its doors on April 27 2012. During the show, Bertazzoni was awarded the prestigious “Best of Show Award” for one of the company’s newest products: the segmented cooktop. The award is given to the product that exhibits the best in functionality, quality/durability, flexibility, aesthetics/style, and innovation.

The Bertazzoni Segmented cooktop combines the power of gas, electric griddle, and induction cooking in one product, a true first in the cooking industry.   It is offered in 6 configurations, all 36″ wide with low profile design.

On the 14th of April Bertazzoni celebrated its 130th anniversary bringing together family, partners and clients from all over the world for a celebration at the Palazzo Ducale in the hometown of Guastalla. Still growing strong after 130 years of success, the two Bertazzoni brands “Bertazzoni” and “La Germania” are highly regarded cooking appliance brands in Italy, Europe and worldwide. The host Paolo Bertazzoni shared with global partners a bright future: “ We are in a very important transformational phase. This year we will be investing new capital and energy into growing the current markets and entering new ones. The care and quality that we put into our products are the ingredients that for 130 years have fueled Bertazzoni success”. During the festive celebration, guests were treated to selected arias of “La Traviata” and a fantastic meal at the Palazzo Ducale.

Hosted by Purcell Murray in their beautiful showroom, Bertazzoni had the chance to meet food bloggers demonstrating the new products live.

Drawing upon Bertazzoni’s 129-year history of Italian enterprise and engineering, the built-in cooking suite combines master craftsmanship and elegant design with precise performance and state-of-the-art controls to offer unparalleled style, convenience and control in the kitchen. The new Bertazzoni built-in line is offered in two distinct styles — the Design Series and the Professional Series. At the heart of the built-in line is an LCD interface which features touch controls and a clear graphic display.

The Professional Series and the Design Series feature ovens, surface cooking models and range hoods that are distinct in design.

Created in collaboration with Milan Designer Stefano Giovannoni, the Design Series combines metropolitan flair and technical virtuosity. Ovens feature a molded, Italian glass handle — exclusive only to Bertazzoni.

The Design Series transforms surface cooking with the introduction of the segmented cooktop. Segmented cooktops are offered in gas, induction or dual fuel combination setups (featured in the photo here in the gas, electric griddle and induction configuration)

The Built-in Professional Series mirrors the celebrated features of the Bertazzoni Professional Series — clean lines, excellent proportions, and functional, ergonomic design.

The new Bertazzoni ovens, cooktops and hoods have been introduced to the public for the first time in Europe.

The Professional Series and the Design Series had great success in exceeding expectations: both with the more traditional customer and with innovative people. Very important are the role of the technological content and new concepts in cooking, such as the intelligent interface and the Assistant in the ovens, as well as the different combinations of cooking surfaces in the segmented cooktops.
